As cost of living continues to rise, more and more Central Coast locals are struggling to afford petrol.

Many say they’re travelling long distances to find an affordable price – prompting local MPs to push for change.

“We know that people are paying too much for fuel.  There’s discrepancies in different suburbs and the cost of living is only getting worse for people in our community”, says Member for Robinson Gordon Reid who has called on the ACCC to take action.
“This is an extremely underwhelming response from the ACCC”, says Mr Reid, who will be escalating the matter to the Federal Minister and will be contacting fuel suppliers directly.
“We deserve better than to have to travel for fuel or use an app to find what’s the cheapest fuel”, concluded Mr Reid.
