Senior Journalist Paul Gover says there is a “whole world of difference” between the goals for electric vehicles politically and the reality for car manufacturers.

Mr Gover joined Sky News host Peta Credlin to discuss the decline in electric vehicle sales across the globe.

“It’s the reality with the car makers, but it’s also the reality in showrooms, and it’s happening around the world now,” he said.

“Australia hasn’t even got started yet, we’re still on the backburner.”
