The bp in Stapylton, Queensland (Yatala) has reopened with a new fuel system and cafe with new made-to-order food options.

The servo also offers a Truckers Lounge with showers for truckies, washing machines and toilets.

The site offers 32 parking spaces in total, including 10 diagonal spaces for B-doubles, 22 semi/rigid parking spaces, four spaces reserved for coaches and four for caravans.

A spokesperson for bp told Big Rigs that the site reopened last Thursday March 28 after being closed for refurbishment for 192 days.

“We’re enhancing our sites to better serve the evolving mobility needs of our customers,” the said.

“Bp Stapylton has a complete new fuel system that will allow more product availability for customers.

“The site now has a refreshed Wildbean cafe with new made-to-order food options, and we’ve optimized store layouts to improve customer flow.”

In response to complaints from truckies that the showers were already out of order just a few days after reopening, the spokesperson said: “There was an issue with showers today and we have taken steps to fix this.”
