Cannington Detectives are seeking public assistance as they investigate a violent confrontation that occurred in Belmont last week.
At approximately 6.10 pm on Thursday, 30 January, a white Hyundai hatchback was pursued by a white Volkswagen Golf along Great Eastern Highway before both vehicles stopped at a service station near Epsom Avenue.
Both drivers and passengers then exited their vehicles, where a confrontation followed.
The female driver of the white Hyundai hatchback was then assaulted, and during the attack, her handbag was stolen by the occupants of the Volkswagen Golf.
A short time later, the occupants of both vehicles were involved in another altercation near a set of units on Epsom Avenue.
Police are appealing for Dash Cam or CCTV footage from anyone in the vicinity of the service station on Great Eastern Highway in Belmont at the time of the incident.
