The application for a new 7 Eleven service station on Ryley St in Wangaratta has been approved by the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal.
The permit was granted for 22-28 Ryley Street, on the corner of Perry and Meldrum Streets, at the old site of Beaurepaires.
The application proposal on Wangaratta Council’s website, indicates that the site was approved for the use and development of a service station.
The plan indicates the alteration of access to a road, as well as the display of a pylon sign, promotion sign, and internally illuminated business signage at the site.
61 objections were recorded against the proposal, which was originally lodged back in 2023.
The estimated cost of the service centre is $2,000,000.
This comes after a new 7 Eleven service station in Benalla was opened earlier this year.
