The Victorian Government has set a deadline of 10 March 2026 for service stations to live report their fuel prices to Service Victoria within 30 minutes of prices changing.
With just weeks until the deadline, Service Victoria’s ‘Servo Saver’ fuel finder app feature still lists out-of-date prices and missing servos, despite promising real-time data months ago.
Website pages and social media posts from Service Victoria have been describing Servo Saver as having “up-to-date fuel prices from every fuel station across Victoria” since last year.
In further conflicting information, some of Service Victoria’s online information for fuel retailers currently says that from 6 August 2025 reporting fuel prices through Service Victoria is mandatory.
Drive has identified multiple service stations that are still missing from the Service Victoria app and many that list prices that are days or weeks old.
