A Rockhampton service station has been robbed at knifepoint with police on the hunt for a man following the incident.
A Queensland Police Service spokeswoman said shortly before 7.30pm on May 3, a man entered the Yaamba Rd service station in Parkhurst and held a large knife at the console operator, demanding cash and cigarettes.
The spokeswoman said the employee complied and the offender left before police arrived on the scene.
The employee was uninjured.
The offender is described as caucasian, about 150cm to 160cm tall with a slim build.
He was wearing a black hoodie, long dark pants and fluoro yellow or green runners.
