The P&C industry in Australia and New Zealand (ANZ) is going through a period of unprecedented change. This change will require successful navigation of the growth in low carbon mobility, the accommodation of constantly changing consumer preferences, and the prudent management of long-tail assets such as Underground Petroleum Storage Systems (UPSS)

As the fuel industry grapples with the dual challenges of ageing infrastructure and maintaining its social licence, the 2024 Asia Pacific Fuel Industry Forum (APFIF) presents a critical opportunity for industry stakeholders to collaborate on the future management of Underground Petroleum Storage Systems (UPSS).

Scheduled as a stand-alone event on Monday, 23 September 2024, (from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM) in Brisbane, this workshop is specifically designed to bring together fuel retail businesses, petroleum equipment suppliers, service contractors, and regulators. The focus will be on assessing the efficacy of current industry practices and discussing innovative solutions for managing UPSS amidst growing concerns over environmental impacts and infrastructure longevity.

The agenda will include insights from regulators, industry veterans, and international experts who will share their perspectives on best practices, regulatory compliance, and the evolving expectations surrounding UPSS management. This workshop is not just a discussion forum – it is an opportunity to be part of the conversation about how our industry can work to ensure that our UPSS assets are operated in a manner that is safe, minimises environmental harm, and managed in accordance with evolving community expectations.

Participants will also be granted free admission to the C360 Expo and are invited to network with their peers and thought leaders during the APFIF Welcome Dinner on Monday night, fostering connections that could lead to new collaborations and partnerships.

Don’t miss this chance to be part of this important conversation.
