After a successful trial VICPOL is now rolling out the Fuel Theft Assistance Line and Online Reporting statewide.
The rollout commences with the Western Region and will be expanded across the rest of the state in early 2026.
Retail operators with outlets in Western Region, can now report online via the Online Reporting Home Page .
Reporting requires an address and postcode that will only work for those in the Western Region now, with additional regions added in coming weeks.
“This is very welcome news. Fuel theft is a perennial problem for retailers and one that has traditionally been difficult to address, so it is excellent to see Victoria Police expanding this successful trial”, noted ACAPMA CEO Rowan Lee
